Aaron Equipment Company was originally incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1935 as a Class A dealership for used and new equipment serving the food, chemical, plastics and allied industries. Its first location was at the original Cermak Road Firehouse in Chicago.
As time passed, Aaron’s success and ever expanding inventory has caused the company to relocate a number of times to larger and larger facilities. Today, the company has grown into an international organization with offices on two continents. The headquarters is located in Bensenville, IL near Chicago’s O’Hare Airport and sits on more than 30 acres with more than 250,000 square feet of warehouse space and a full service reconditioning shop.
With more than 15,000 items of quality used process equipment in inventory, Aaron has the reputation for being one of the largest dealers of used, new and reconditioned process equipment serving most processing and packaging industries.

In 2009, Aaron Equipment Company had a plan to expand it's packaging department due to the booming Packaging Industry. They began looking at successful used packaging equipment dealers to emulate and found Kendell Equipment owned by K.C. Christensen. K.C. had more than 20 years of experience in the Packaging Industry and has personally been involved in over 10,000 machinery projects, toured hundreds of manufacturing facilities, and provided thousands of equipment solutions to his customers.
By combing the best qualities of these two companies, Aaron Kendell Packaging Equipment (AEK) was formed. Aaron Equipment Company has the ability to offer our customers a multitude of value added services. Our Shop which is located at our headquarters near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport encompasses 100,000 square feet in a climate controlled environment.
The shop is capable of a variety of services including: Mechanical Test Running of Equipment Under Power; Vacuum Testing; Spark Testing Glass-Lined Surfaces; Dye Penetration Testing on Welds; and Dynamic Balancing of Rotating Parts (i.e. Centrifuges). Aaron also offers complete machine reconditioning from start-to-finish and can provide new drive systems and PLC control systems to your exact specifications.
