For over 100 years, PAUL O. ABBÉ has designed and manufactured quality size reduction mills, mixers and dryers for a broad range of industries. Starting in 1911 in Northern New Jersey, the original center for the U.S. chemical process industries, the first applications were fine milling of pigments used in the silk dying industry.

Today Paul O. Abbe mills, dryers and mixer are used in every industry from advanced ceramics for electronic and medical applications, to catalysts, polymers, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Paul O. Abbe specializes in the application, design and manufacturing of wet and dry size reduction mills, tumble and agitated vacuum dryers, tumble, agitated and fluidizing solids mixers, and sigma blade mixers and extruders. Not only do we design the process equipment, but we design compete integrated system including controls and instrumentation, vacuum, solvent recovery, temperature control, loading and unloading systems. We design process equipment from the largest production scale to pilot plant and kilo-lab scale. All of our designs take into consideration the end-users application with final design adjusted to accommodate process requirement, cross-contamination, cleaning and maintenance needs.
